Around 900 subpostmasters were convicted on evidence from the Horizon system between 2000 and 2015. Fujitsu knew the system produced unexplained shortfalls, and gave evidence in court that it was robust 2930

Convictions quashed by statute
Post Office (Horizon System) Offences Act 2024, in force 24 May 2024. The CCRC calls it the biggest series of wrongful convictions in UK legal history. As of 2025 no Post Office or Fujitsu employee has been held to account 2930
